There is a Great Meadow public observing session scheduled for this Saturday night. (1-16-2016, 5:00 – 10:00 pm). I will be traveling this weekend so I am unable to attend and I will not be able to send out an email to cancel if the weather is bad so please check the weather forecast before going! Star Gaze 2015 – Oct 3rd – CANCELLED
The forecast for this weekend’s Star Gaze event poses serious risks to the safety of our volunteers as well as members of the general public who might wish to attend the event. Consequently, we have decided to cancel Star Gaze for 2015. Byron Bergert Imaging Group – Sept 5 10am to 1pm at Patrick Henry Library
NOVAC’s Byron Berget Imaging Group will hold its next processing party on Saturday September 5 from 10am to 1pm at the Patrick Henry Library in Vienna. The room is just inside the main door to the right. Bring your images from AHSP or your backyard, your laptops, or just your questions, and we’ll process our data and discuss imaging techniques. Meeting of Byron Bergert Imaging Group
After some hunting, we’ve found a time, date, and location for the next meeting of NOVAC’s astro-imaging group, named in honor of late NOVACian Byron Bergert. Tentatively, we’re hoping to hold this on 23 May from 10:00-1:00, in a meeting room at the Loudoun County Public Library at 43316 Hay Road in Ashburn, VA.
