Unfortunately tonight’s public night is canceled, the third cancelled Crockett Public Night in a row. The astronomy forecast predicts 70 percent or more cloud cover and the local forecast is cloudy with a 20% chance of showers or drizzle. Not acceptable conditions; nobody wants precipitation on lenses, mirrors or electronics.
Hoping for clear skies next month and many days before and after.

The weather forecasts indicate mostly cloudy sky conditions until after 23:00 local. To not disappoint the public or annoy volunteers, tonight’s public night is cancelled. Hope for clear skies in the coming months.

With the cancellation of Star Gaze this past weekend we have added an additional Public Night for this coming Sunday evening 6:30pm to 11:00pm at Crockett Park. Special thanks goes out to the club members that are making this happen!
